Why Organization Matters

I love colored visual boards to help me get organized and to keep creative juices flowing. There is something about Post it notes, color coded note cards and printed storyboards that makes tasks pre visuals come to life. And when it comes to scripted and unscripted stories I think nothing speeds up a production more than having all your plans in one place. Last year I stumbled across a fabulous free online app called “Milanote” that has made a world of difference in helping me keep all my files, pre visuals, and checklists all in one place. I’ll put together a video walk though at some points, but take a gander at this screen shot to see what it looks like.
